Denis holds a degree in Economics and Business and has launched several entrepreneurial initiatives across diverse sectors.
He joined Tecres in 2000, where he assumed roles of increasing responsibility before being appointed CEO.
He is Vice President of Confindustria, with responsibilities spanning finance, taxation, and access to capital. He serves as Chairman and CEO of Fapin Srl, Chairman of Tech4Life, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Tatuus Group.
Alongside his position as Chairman of Demetra, he serves as Chairman of Tecres and holds board memberships across all companies within the Demetra Group.

In the late 1970s, Giovanni was part of a group that developed a modular axial fixation system based on the bone’s natural regenerative capacity. This innovation led to the founding of Orthofix, which he left in 1981 to pursue an entrepreneurial project.
He founded TECnologies RESearch – Tecres, with the aim of developing advanced medical products for orthopaedics and infection treatment.

Michele has over 20 years of experience in the medical devices sector, having held executive roles in multinational companies.
He returned to Italy in late 2016 as CEO and Chairman of Medtronic Italy, later taking on responsibility for Northern Europe and strategic partnerships in Western Europe. He concluded this tenure as Vice President for Enterprise Accounts & Services.
Since July 2019, he has chaired the Healthcare Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
In March 2024, Michele was appointed CEO of Demetra Holding and Tecres.

Lorenzo joined Astorg in 2009. He is a Partner and Co-Head of the Flagship Fund, as well as Head of the Industrial sector. He is a member of both the Investment Committee and the Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Astorg, he spent five years at 3i in Milan, working on numerous transactions across a broad range of sectors.
He began his career in the Transaction Services department at KPMG in Paris, advising corporates and private equity funds on cross-border deals for four years.
Lorenzo holds dual Italian and French nationality and graduated from Bocconi University in Milan.

Massimo has over 30 years of experience at Tecres, where he served as Executive Vice President with responsibilities including regulatory affairs and marketing.
He previously worked for five years at a major financial institution, with the last year as Head of Securities Trading, gaining direct experience in the stock market.
He also held the position of CEO at a paper manufacturing company based in Verona.

Marco joined Astorg in 2014 and is a member of the Investment Team.
He is an Italian national and graduated from HEC Paris. He also holds a Master’s degree from Imperial College London.

Thibaut joined Astorg in 2016 and is a member of the Corporate Functions Team. He serves as Managing Director and Head of Fund Administration.
He began his career in 2009 at Deloitte Luxembourg, where he specialised in external audits for international clients in the private equity and real estate sectors. He was promoted to Manager in 2014.
Thibaut holds a Master’s degree from IÉSEG School of Management.
